All bookings include continental & cooked breakfast at a time that suits you.

Top quality linens, teas/coffee making facilities, toiletries, robes, slippers and spa towels.

Access to on-site facilities such as the Spa, Sauna, drying room, BBQ, and storage for skis or bikes.

Your room will be spotlessly clean when you arrive, and is serviced daily. Change of towels provided if staying more than 2 nights.

Yes we provide continental & cooked breakfast at a time that suits you.

If booking direct from our booking site, then payment is taken 30 days before arrival. If your booking is less than 30 days away, then it will be taken immediately.

If you book through other channels then payment conditions will be subject to their business model.

Early check-in is by appointment and subject to availability of the room and housekeeping.

Please confirm with us the day before arrival.

In most cases we can safely store your baggage, even if we cannot offer room access.

Late check-out depends upon bookings due upon your departure. Please speak to us on arrival, or as early as possible during your stay, and we will try to assist.

Yes. We provide complimentary WiFi throughout the property. It is suitable for streaming, video calls and remote work.

Booking direct gives you access to our best available rates, any exclusive offers, direct communication with us, and personalised assistance when arranging your stay.

We recommend stays for two or more days to get the best experience of our beautiful surroundings and activities.

We do however accept one night stays.

In ski season we have a minimum 2 night stay Friday and Saturday.

Ruapehu Country lodge is designed as a couple’s or solo traveller’s retreat.
Our ensuite rooms are not set up for children, so we recommend booking only for adults.

Unfortunately we cannot host your four-legged companion. We hope you can treat them to their own holiday while you enjoy a break with us at Ruapehu Country Lodge.

Yes, there are several good restaurants and cafes in Ohakune. We can recommend places to dine and have lunch.
